Firefly has been a partner since their inception. The relationship began when existing client CVEC, an electrical co-op, sought to follow their grid to add broadband communication. We created Firefly. A name inspired by our glowing insect friends that dot our landscape in Summer, and the little flashes of electricity our so-called lightning bugs bring to our world. We designed brand identity, and created a suite of marketing materials, including a mascot: Flash. Today, they’ve grown to one of the fastest growing companies in our region. And more importantly perhaps, they are building their high-speed network in rural areas that established broadband companies have traditionally ignored. To support their continued growth, geo-targeted social media campaigns in rural Virginia share Firefly’s fast service, transparent pricing, and superior customer service (provided by people living right here). As more and more neighbors switch to Firefly Fiber Broadband, they take advantage of telehealth, remote work, and family movie nights with seamless streaming.
