The Virginia Community College System is the lifeblood of an emerging state economy. Every year they educate thousands and prepare them for careers and lives newly enriched. The system's Great Expectations program is invaluable. It guides foster youth to higher education - challenging the historical odds that show those students do not attend college. This film helped raise money and awareness for a program that is the gold standard for civic works.
