What’s in a name?

Waterbird Vodka was built from the ground up. After conceiving a brand name, we collaborated with owner Wilson Craig to create a memorable yet timeless package design. The premium product entered a new and emerging canned-cocktail market, with a distinct name and distinct logo on all cans and packages. The Waterbird name was born out of a purity of premium ingredients, and it was natural for it to be a natural: water + bird. In a category full of corn vodka and artificial ingredients Waterbird was a gluten-free, potato vodka. The water drops formed a bird for all seasons and all flavors, and has become a familiar emblem as Waterbird has spread to national footprint and ultimately, an acquisition by E. and J.Gallo Corp.
